Six Sentence Sunday - The Bone Flute - Boxed In

Happy Six Sentence Sunday! I hope your weekend is going well. Thank you so much for visiting and taking the time to read this week's snippet. I really appreciate your time and the comments you leave for me. While my sixes aren't always right after each other, they are in chronological order. If you'd like to read last week's SSS post, it's here.

Today I'm offering another snippet from The Bone Flute, a paranormal romantic suspense. Rain's sexy intruder has some strange claims and even stranger explanations of his origin.

He raised his ringless hands up in a placating gesture and said, “Becalm yourself, my lady. I’m not here to hurt you; you brought me here, I didn’t follow you.”
“What the hell are you talking about?”
Keeping his hands where she could see them, he moved to the side and pointed at the long box on the table. She followed his motions, glancing quickly at the box, then back to him.
“I’m bound to the Bone Flute, my lady, and where it goes, I must also go."

That gives a whole new meaning to man in a box. ;) There are several great authors on the Six Sentence Sunday list and a few of my favorites are Karla DoyleSarah BallanceSilver JamesLaura Kaye, Cara Michaels, and Goran Zidar. Thank you for stopping by and happy reading! :)
