Sinful Sirens Giveaway Hop and Sexy Summer Drinks

Welcome to the Weird, the Wild, & the Wicked, where the sinfully sexy come to life, and adventure takes you away. This week I'm one of the stops on the Sinful Sirens Giveaway hop hosted by Under The Covers and Guilty Pleasures, where you can win fabulous prizes just by visiting each blog and commenting on each author's post.

Summer is coming (well, it's here in Las Vegas already), and the best things about summer are the reading and the drinks. There's nothing better than kicking back with a good book and a cool drink. I prefer Virgil's Root Beer on ice, but I know there are many other libations both refreshing and wonderful.

Fortunately, my upcoming release, Queen Bitch of the Callowwood Pack, takes care of both of these situations. It's a great book, and it takes place at the Wolf's Den, a bar in the little town of Callowwood. Julianna Morris takes a job there as the manager when she comes home after almost two decades away.

Here's the blurb:

Julianna Morris didn’t know werewolves existed…until she became one.

Hiding her new identity, Julianna returns home only to find her teenage crush, Jeff Lightfoot, is the future Alpha of the Callowwood werewolf pack. She’s unexpectedly chosen as a candidate for the pack’s next Luna, the Alpha female—and Jeff’s mate. This is perfect, except Julianna knows nothing about being a werewolf, and someone’s determined to make her fail the Seven Tests of the Luna.

Jeff Lightfoot lusted after Julianna for years, even when he thought she was human. Now she’s home and all his—if she passes the tests. She’s his True Mate and he wants no one else, but pack politics trump Mother Nature and will prevent him from choosing Julianna if she fails.

For the future she wants, Julianna must pass the tests to become Queen Bitch of Callowwood—or watch Jeff take another woman as his mate.

It's a sinfully sexy, and let me tell you, Julianna makes an excellent siren for Jeff. For the giveaway hop, just tell me your favorite drink and what it consists of. What are the ingredients, and can you make it at home?

I'm giving away a digital copy of Queen Bitch of the Callowwood Pack, available May 23rd (winner's choice of format) to one commenter, and a Siobhan Muir coffee cup to a runner-up. All you have to do is leave me a valid email address or Twitter handle with your drink recipe comment so I can contact you if you win. The giveaway blog hop runs from 12:01 am PDT May 15th to 11:59 pm PDT May 20th, and is open to US/Canada residents only for the mug, Internationally for the ebook (Void where prohibited). I'll post the winners here on the blog on Monday, May 21st.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful giveaway hop and be sure to check out the other authors on the Linky list below. Each one has a fabulous prize to give away. Happy reading! :)

  2. I love the sound of Queen Bitch of the Callowwood Pack, love werewolves stories, my favorite tipple is Christmas Pudding Vodka and I have to have some on the fridge at all times, It would be easier for me to put the link up for the drink as it has a lot of ingredients in it and of course all the prep involved, I hope you manage to open it OK, it is on a UK site, http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/christmas_pudding_vodka_45343
The only other thing I do differently, is to add lemonade when poured into a glass as it is rather syrupy on it's own, Hope you enjoy it, Thankyou for a wonderful give-away and for making it international x x

  4. My favorite drink, beside fresh roasted coffee, is simple. In a short whiskey glass filled with ice ..slowly pour in a light Canadian whiskey to the top ..gently stir with your finger ..lick your finger and enjoy. You can add honey if you want it a little sweeter. ;-)

My favorite summer drink is a nice cold glass of Radler. It is a German Beer Based Lemonade drink. You can get it in a bottle or make your own. Here is the recipe:
1 (12 ounce) can minute maid lemonade
1 (16 ounce) bottle of favorite german beer (Weissbier "wheat beer" is best)
    Directions:
1Prepare lemonade as directed on label.
2.Mix prepared lemonade and beer together in a 1:1 ratio.

    So yummy and refreshing.

Well since the coffee mug is part of the fun giveaway opportunity, it is so appropriate that my favorite drink is coffee LOL Lets take some Cafe Verona beans and grind them then brew or french press a nice strong cup, add some cream (I actually love Coffeemate - shhhh don't tell) and add one of the little mini bottles of Irish Cream - OHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHH! Just the smell of the steaming cup sends me off to enjoy a new place in my imagination :) Thank you for your fun participation in this hop and the awesome giveaway opportunity.
