Six Sentence Sunday - Her Devoted Vampire - Shall We Dance?

Welcome back, Sixers! Thank you so much for stopping by to read my snippet. I truly appreciate it. Since this is the last Sunday in April, this will be the last SSS snippet of Her Devoted Vampire. But don't despair, you can still find it at Smashwords, Evernight, Amazon, ARe, Bookstrand, Kobobooks, and Barnes&Noble to read it in its entirety. :)

In this snippet, Bridget has woken up after she was mugged and found herself back at the coffee shop, dressed for a night on the town. Apparently, she'd missed a date, so when Fredrick MacGregor appears, and wants to dance, who is she to say no?

Fredrick pulled her into his arms, holding her steady. Bridget had the odd sensation he protected her from more than just the floor.
“Easy now, I’ve got you and I’m here, Bridget. I’ll always be here from now on.” He hugged her like he held spun glass, laying a soft kiss on her forehead. “I’ll never leave you unprotected again, I promise you.”

*Wistful sigh* Thanks again for stopping by. I realize the Six Sentence Sunday list is long and you have many choices. Your comments mean a lot to me and I'm glad you took the time. There are some of the writers I visit Cara Bristol, Sarah Ballance, Goran Zidar, Gem Sivad, JoAnn Ross, Cate Masters, Zee Monodee, Ruthie Knox, and Silver James.
