Six Sentence Sunday - Her Devoted Vampire - Fredrick's Dilemma

Welcome back, Sixers! Thank you so much for visiting my blog this weekend. I realize there are many authors to visit from the Six Sentence Sunday list, so that you've taken time to visit mine is much appreciated. I have several favorites I always visit and a few of them are Cara Michaels, Gem Sivad, Zee Monodee, and Sarah Ballance.

In this snippet of my recent release, Her Devoted Vampire, Fredrick has come into Bridget's room after he locked her in, and found her asleep on the floor (she'd knocked over her water glass and in her attempt to retrieve it, been unable to get back into the bed), the food uneaten, and the carpet stained.

Fredrick retrieved the cut crystal and replaced it on the tray, then stood looking at his unwilling guest. He wished he could explain to her why she had to stay, but he only seemed to infuriate her each time he tried. He sighed and shook his head at his clumsy attempts to make her comfortable.

Before he could stop himself, he reached out and stroked her cheek with the backs of his fingers.

“It will be better, I promise, Bridget. Just trust me, please,” he whispered.

Aww, maybe he should just tell her. Nah! :D Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting. Happy reading! :)

  13. He seems like he means well, but I think it would be hard for a girl to trust a guy that's locked in the room, lol.
