Six Sentence Sunday - Her Devoted Vampire - Trouble Brewing

Welcome, Sixers! I hope your week has gone well. It's so nice to be back on Six Sentence Sunday and I really appreciate all your visits and the comments you leave. Thank you. There are many authors who participate in Six Sentence Sunday and some of my favorites are Zee Monodee, Gem Sivad, Kallypso Masters, and Sarah Ballance.

Today I'm offering another snippet of my recent release from Evernight Publishing, Her Devoted Vampire. In this scene, Fredrick is trying to protect Bridget from some muggers.

Fredrick had been completely silent and those men huge, yet he defeated them easily.
He must have some sort of Special Forces training.
She wanted to laugh in nervous delight to express her amazement and gratitude, but someone grabbed her from behind and shoved something hard against her side as one arm snaked around her throat. The stench of wet wool and stale beer assaulted her nose.
“Fred—!” Her scream cut off as the arm tightened.

Perhaps Fredrick should have moved a little faster. ;) Thanks for stopping by and happy reading! :)

If you'd like to get a copy of Her Devoted Vampire, it's now available at Amazon, All Romance Ebooks, Bookstrand, and Smashwords.

  19. Considering how well he handled the others, I think running a few seconds late won't prove too much of a detriment. Well done!
