In this snippet of Queen Bitch of the Callowwood Pack, Jeff and Julianna are on their first date since the party at a restaurant. They're trying to play it cool, but their wolfish natures (and urges) are shining through.
“Do you know
what you want?”
“Yessssss,” she
mused slowly, then grimaced. “Unfortunately, it’s not currently on the menu.”
“Oh,” he asked
surprised and a little concerned, "what’s that?”
She looked up at
him, met his green-gold gaze, and smiled slowly.
“I’m not sure
what the proper term is, but I think it has something to do with cocks and
kittens.”
